MS Color Sigma Warranty question

Hmmm... I called the local distributor about a month and a half ago and was told the warranty is two years + 6 months (the extra 6 months if registered online).

So many different versions. Best to check the paper work in your lens package and calling sigma to confirm.

Warranty as below if I am not wrong.

Original warranty is 1 year

Local set Sigma agent give another 1 year (might be promotion period)

Register online Sigma agent give another 0.5 year

Total local set should be 2.5 years

I cant seemed to register online in SG Sigma site. Warranty page just provide info on not accepting grey sets warranty and doesnt have a form to fill up to register the warranty. Anyone can advice? Thanks. BTW, just bought a Sigma 19mm f2.8 E Mount lens from MS Color @ 250. Quite a good price.

Inside the package for local set, the agent would have put in another piece of warranty card that is their own.

But still... need to register online within 14 days of purchase to activate the additional 6 months warranty on top of the 1 year standard plus 1 year extended warranty... Tatz y m trying to register online...

I didn't register online nor sent in my warranty card. Bought from ms color. So warranty still valid?

Without registering warranty within 14 days upon purchase, YES!

Just to share, bought the 50mm 1.4 in April warranty card stated 12 plus 6 months (for on-line registration) warranty, after registration received confirmation reply from Sigma the lens is warranty for 2 years.

Think the additon 6 months is 'promotion' by Sigma SG.
