depends on YOU the shooter, what focal length is more comfortable to you?
both are great lenses. |

same price : 630USD : 28-70L since 1993 , heavy >850gr ,only 01 Aspherical lens 650 USD : 17-40L May 2003, only 450gr , plus Super UD and 3 Aspherical lens My dream lens is : 17-40, 70-200 2.8L , 50 1.4 |
