    Hi to all,

    This is my first posting for critique. Taken as training my skills with Raynox close up lens.

    1. in what area is critique to be sought?

    Composition: Positioning and angle of the photo
    Color: Color and saturation with respect to temperature
    Technical: Taken with a Raynox Close up lens

    2. what one hopes to achieve with the piece of work?

    Capturing the beauty of the rose

    3. under what circumstance is the picture taken? (physical conditions/emotions)

    Taken without the assistance of tripod or flash.

    4. what the critique seeker personally thinks of the picture

    Pretty nice and clear.

    Just my two cents, i think the focus would be better if you try to rotate and crop it?

    I would love to see more clearly the outlines of the layers of petals. Nice take anyway.

    Thanks. I was trying to go more close up but the rose is so small that this is the closest for me. Let me try to crop it a bit.

    it's over-saturated, that's what it is. Composition could be more interesting; try rule of third.
