Default Viewing of Photos in ipad2 versus S Galaxy Tab 10.1

We are not comparing the 2 in other aspects as there are tonnes of discussion in HWZ.

Hope to get some views on how good is the display of photos in terms of colour accuracy, in terms of rendering of the tone, contrast etc.

Based on my limited view, I found that photos in the ipad2 are "optimized" for ipad2, that is to say, it looks good in the native screen, but not in the original size. Therefore, it looks bad when you try to zoom in.

Ipad no doubt wins in my book, it's a chic magnet... can use it as a hookup line such as "wanna play my angry bird?"

Screen too saturated - wonder if it is due to the OS or is it the LCD touch-screen itself???

So far, all the notebooks LCD renders pictures pretty well against the Galaxy tab's screen.

And most notebook's LCDs are horrible compared to a good monitor...

I think I won't put too much emphasis into color accuracy for these tablets, frankly.
