Price in KL

hi to all..
i would like to ask anyone here ever buy canon lenses from KL?since
i'm going to KL soon.how is the price there compare to local shops.someone here have posted 20D price which is cheaper there...recently ,sing$ is pretty strong ... which is good for us too,right?

You can try this shop at the ground floor of Pertama Complex. Quite reasonable price. If you shop at KLCC and the other big shopping ctrs, you might be fleeced.

There's a 'Canon' shop right in KLCC but I wouldn't go there since they'll be charging full retail price.

20D, body only : RRP RM$6300.
20D, kit : RRP RM$6600.

70-200mm f2.8 L IS : RRP RM$8640.

Go to those small outlets and ask for discounts. 70-200mm f2.8 L IS ard RM$7xxx.

Its called Photo Selangor if i'm not mistaken

Yes, Foto Selangor or something like that. Anyway, you can't miss it, it's the biggest and only store in the building which faces the main road outside.

Pudu Plaza, 2nd floor, small shop but the one that most people in KL go to.

There is also one at Shaw Parade... buys and sells 2nd hand... called Camera something... SP is at Pudu area also, near the former Majestic theatre (near Pudu Jail).

I went there yesterday but I did not see any thing that I would like to but. Though film buffs might really like it. Really old full frames and fully manul cameras heh heh.. It looked like an antique camera shop. Hopefully more luck at pudu later heh heh.. But thank a million
