    Default Any ICQ users?

How do you get rid of those spam? Everyday I'll receive at least an authorisation request. How to stop this? It is getting irritating day by day!

    Smile Hello Drudkh

Would Skype be of any use to you ?
From what I noticed when I have used it.
The same benefits as the others but without adverts etc.

    Thumbs up Hi Drudkh

I have not used Skype for a little time, but I don't remember any spam nor anything I did not require.
It was simply a way of communication via the keyboard along with voice and vid ability.
Out of interest, try it out. It is free and there is nothing to loose I guess.

I don't think you can link ICQ contacts to Skype (I may be wrong...never looked at it).

I understand that if you have all of your contacts (over time) using ICQ... it would be a big job switching them over to a new method of contact.
I guess the best thing would be to try Skype a bit (with a couple of people) and see if you think it will be worth the effort to change.
Out of interest...tomorrow I will start up Skype again .... see if you can find me My last name is Richardson... I live in Australia (Queensland)

u can set your ICQ such that it is not available for search and you can ignore message if the user is not inside your list.

msn sucks lar...cannot even resume when i send file, the interface and features both lousy. Worse is that i cannot even send offline messages
