Default How to set SB800 to wireless?

After reading the instruction manual a few times, I still don't get it. Tried a couple of times and still can't seem to make it work! Only manage to set to SU-4 mode(what is that?) and trigger the flash as a slave, but results very unpredictable and does not seem to work always... I set the camera to comander mode... If I just want one light sorce from the external source, how do I do it? If I want ratio flash with the built in flash and SB800, How do I do it? What channel should I set the external flash to? Should i set the external flash to Master or Master Ext?

Thanks Benedium! Finally manage to make it work! But it only works when I choose the SB800 at Ch 3. Why is that so? How would I be able to change the channel? So what are the other master modes for?

D70's internal flash can only operate in Commander Mode in Channel 3, Group A. If you want more/other Channels, you need to have an SB-800 in Commander Mode.
