Sky wasn't that blue.

This raptor is like a sub-adult already.

Hi Harlequin,

Your pics never failed to amaze me. Great capture of this magnificent raptor flying in mid air. Subject is sharp and detailed and if the sky can be a bit more blue...oops cannot ask for more Once again excellent shot!

Cheers

Thanks to Newguy69, skfoo & Garion for the compliments.

Yeah the weather during the weekends can take a sudden turn and become cloudy.

As usual a great shot The motion blur at edges of wing doesn't look very natural, was it PSed ?

Thanks to Caussway, Madcat and melvynyeo for the kind compliments.

The motion blur is not PSed. Probably the low shutter speed of 1/640 effect ?

Nice pics there.

Curious, does the AF work with the 1.4 tc attached to the 600 AFS lens?

Thanks for sharing

Fabulous shot. Very quick hands, legs, eyes, camera and so forth to get that shot. And that is an equiv of 1260mm! Even at half that focal length, I am already struggling.

You're such a sharpshooter man.

Yes it can still AF with the 1.4TC. Even with the 1.7TC too.

Thanks for the kind compliments.

Practice more lor. The small degree of view do pose a challenge at times but once you get the hang of it, would be quite ok to focus.

Me not sharpshooter lah...sometimes cockeye too.
