Default Common Not So Commonly Seen

Tried my luck this morning searching for BCKF before heading to work. After an hour of sun tanning and insect bitings....NO LUCK, with a disappointed heart I packed up my gears and decided to call it a day but all of a sudden, a pair of common KFs poped out of nowhere. Quickly grabbed my cam and fired a few rojak shots handheld just before they flew away and vanished into the thick vegetation.
Enjoys and please comments.

One last shot before the birdies flew away

Cheers

Still quite a fair bit of CA. Did you try to use higher aperture settings?

Hey, i got my virgin shot of KF today too. 1 pair also and were huddling quite close together, but by the time i setup tripod (ie spread the legs) one of them flew away. Damn, in this instance, a monopod would have been useful.

Bro, congrate to your virgin shot... . Seems like both of us got our virgins broken this morning I got too excited coz these birdies only stationed for just a few seconds and flew off, so just pointed and wracked.... and forgotten to set the aperture.

Cheers

Good effort there! Not easy to shoot them as fm my observations they are the tinest species of all KF seen locally.

Hi Curare,

Thanks for the comment. Yup, the commons are one of the smaller species of KF.
