No sure about the price you wanted for your above mentioned lens. But I was looking for something similar and I just got a quotation for something similar. Maybe it will help.

Tamron 28-300mm zoom DI XR S$590 I am considering between this one and a Sigma 70-300mm APO Super II which is S$315

Ah yah...i want to sell off this len lah...not much use of it..but i dun know the price as it was a gift..so wan to find out then roughly can know how much to sell off...

heheh I was thinking the same thing too heh...but will have to wait abit. Have to use my $$ for other hobbies for now heh. Going on a Roti diet is not my way heh. But I think I should be able to get it before Christmas which will be just in time to do some candid shooting around town and my next trip back to malaysia
