Default Nikon Capture problem

Can anyone help me out here? I d/led the trial version of Nikon Capture and have been repeatedly trying to get the editor to work. Whenever I tried to start it up, it would show me that an hourglass showing an hourglass and nothing else. It would be taking up a huge chunk of my processing speed!!!

I running off a clean system, just loaded not long ago with XP SP1. Nikon Capture works but very slow.

Whats ur pc spec? Cpu, ram..etc.
Nikon capture won't work if u load other language support for non-Unicode.
Make sure ur non-Unicode support is set to default (English US)

Yeah, the problem is the 'language support for non-Unicode'. I still can't find any other solution to it other than set it back to US English. The latest patch for NC also doesn't rectify this.

You have no choice. Setting it to US English is the only way I know of. Why don't you set it to US English when you are editing your photos and then change it back later? I know its very inconvenient, but there is no other choice.
