blueSLR, a line of Bluetooth modules that enable Nikon digital SLRs to be wirelessly triggered from an iPhone, iPod touch or iPad, with optional geolocation data embedding, will soon be available for Android and BlackBerry too. Starting the week of October 24, XEquals, the Canadian maker of blueSLR, will begin shipping modules that are compatible with Bluetooth-equipped Android and BlackBerry devices. Two new blueSLR modules will be available, encompassing 12 current and previous-generation Nikons, for US$149. Shipping is free to those who pre-order by October 21.
