CP is the sole distributor of Tokina lens in Singapore, although u can also get the Tokina lens from MS Color. The service center is with CP.

Base on the website, it seem that Sigma and Tokina have more groups and elements that Nikon 12-24DX.
Does it mean that it is better than Nikon in term of CA, contrast, sharpness?

dunno about the tokina but the sigma is better than the nikon in all aspects except for weight, size and an exposed front element.

get the nikon 12-24. absolutely awesome.

my best lens purchase yet!

was thikning of getting the sigma, coz its cheaper..

but there is one BIG area sigma is not better in:
F4.5-5.6 versus constant F4.

The constant F4 is a dream come true. due to the ultra wide angle, i can handhold at slow shutter speeds. So indoor wide angle shots are AWESOME!!!

Honestly, for wide-angle, spending on fixed aperture is not really necessary. I hand-held almost all my shots when i took with my tokina 19-35mm. At wide angle, there's more than sufficient light reaching the camera, hence, usually you are trying to hold it back more than anything...

not sure what you meant by "at wide-angle, there's more than sufficient light reaching the camera". you probably meant that wide-angle lens allow you to handhold at slower shutter speed with reasonable sharpness.

There's no more light entering for a F4 wide angle lens vs a F4 telephoto lens (for both cases, shutter speed will be the same if the subject is uniformly lit).

there seems to be an increase in the number of sellers of Sigma 12-24mm in the buy and sell....(2 nikon 1 canon mount)

is the quality so bad that people are offloading them in just months?
