Default Some Macros from my Walk in the Park

Hi all...

I have not been doing this for a while, anyway.... just to share what I saw with my cam today!

1. A little Fly

Interesting insect you got there (no 4). I shot a similar one before but it was black with the same orange and black marking at the side.

Hi...

Thx for seeing and your comments.

It's Woodlands Garden, lots of Dragonflies today too (but none of em' landed!), but I guess it's because the rain just passed and there were alot of insect activites...

YO Y0ngCheng!!! I knew you'll come to the rescue of my ill-knowledge over these little beauties! I went looking around about leaf Hopper, but it don't look like what I shot man.

I was using my 300D with Kit Lens... and a little help from my close-up +3. Cheers.

Great shots, for the 1st one..i think the leaf on the front part on the bottom left is quite distracting.... hmm background too dark..?

Nice catch!

The fly is nice, except the left bottom corner is a bit distracting.

Did you do any cropping? I tend to notice for the close up filters (single element type) tends to cause the edges of the images to be slightly blur. In of your hopper shots, this can be seen on the left side.

Can you share your settings? Thanks!

Thx for the advise. I will try the wireless flash technic in my next shoot...

The Settings are:
1, 2 and 3: F3.5 1/320
4 & 5:F3.5 1/500
