Nikon Zoom 24-120 VR ed
Hi everyone.. i've been toying with the idea of getting this lense as an everyday lense for my flim cam...
was just wondering if the rumours about it being soft are true... thanks |

No complains from what I get on my slides. On digital however, slight tad soft until f/8. But nothing a USM cannot achieve.

Nope... not really that soft on film. On digital very slightly soft. Good general multipurpose len to me.
 It's worth it. |

correction. nikon equiv of USM is SilentWave. VR is comparable to IS in canon. personally, i wouldn't touch a 24-120 ED or non ED. i think 28-105 is a better lens.  |

3rd party.. bad
nah... had that exact same lense.. sharp yes, but my camera's autofocus motor literally TORE through that lense... sigh.. returned it for a full refund in the us...
oh well.. will be going down to test the 28-105 since that's been a well received lense for quite a while.. thanks guys. =) |
