Default whats wrong with my speedlite?

hey peeps, i've got two speedlites, 320ex & YongNuo 480. The problem is, whenever i use slaves mode, sometime it syncs, sometime it doesnt. So whats the problem? (i'm using DSLR Canon 600D)

    (1) am i to far from my speedlites?
    (2) or is it the angle i've position the speedlite?
    (3) Or is it my beginner cam cant sync well?

lack of information of how the set up, unable to do diagnosis

try cut the distance of commander and slave by half and see how

turn your flash sensor around and see how

check and confirm your commanding flash, remote flash have fully recycle before fire

most likely your remote flash unable to "see" the flash light, turn the sensor of the remote flash to face the commending flash.
