    Default Advice

Hi! everyone, just need some advice from some of you have experience in shooting in disco enviroment.

I was requested to take up this assigment by my company due to no budget to engage a professional photographer.

I hope someone will share with me or provide me with your advice.

I will be shooting with Canon Eos 10d with flash.

Please guide me how to set my camera, I don't want to screw up the event.

    Thanks

use high iso (800 is ok)
large appertures, use apperture prioty, av on your canon
    bounce the flash.

these are very general. you taking pictures of just people mingling ard right?

these shots of mine, http://homepage.mac.com/limdaniel/PhotoAlbum18.html, were taken in similary dark conditions with just a fast lens, high iso without flash. you should do just fine...

I think its a possibility that the use of flash might spoil the club atmosphere inherent in a disco shot. Really depends on what kind of shots you want to take
