2 and 3 for me. centered but the overall feel of the shots is nice..


i don't like #1... the processing/softness doesn't really match the overall feel of the pic.. moreover it's really very messy where they're playing chess... and the messiness is brought out because of the same tones of the subject and the motorcycles from the processing.


what kind of processing is this.. done in PS or traditional lab ?

Part manual darkroom and part PS.These are actually scanned from monochrome prints with burning etc but I've accentuated the effect with PS. Agree that #1 is messy, actually wanted to make it hi-key by lots of dodging but a bit hard.....

I think they're great too. The vignetting; was it due to equipment or PS? I think it lends atmosphere to the shots either way.
