This is my first try at an event. This series was taken last week at the Esplanade with kids playing violins and cellos. They are soo cute!
1. ![]() 2. 3. Anyone got ideas how I can improve on the pics? All comments (however brutal, more brutal better ) are welcomed.

the second one looks cute... think better use tripod for 1/25 shutter speed. the last pic is a waste

Taken indoors at the Esplanade, u'll get this consistent reddish cast on all your photos... you might like to try different White Balance settings in future when u shoot in similar settings to see which one can get rid of the cast...

yah.. the reddish cast is a bane of my aging camera. I can do a custom white balance setting, looks alright on the LCD but still turns out reddish after I press the shutter.
i waited a long time for no.4 to flip the folder. :P guess it wasn't a good idea Learnt quite a bit from this shoot. Here's the PS-ed number 4 ![]()
