Default In need of a good cup of latte...

Know where I can get a good cuppa in town?

CBTL and Starbucks ain't to my liking.

So far, the latte at Baker's Inn is good. Just looking for alternatives....

if i not wrong, they use their own coffee grounds. packaged under their own brand... i normally order their "Devil's Brew", which is their normal coffee brew. it's quite killer...

Having been exposed to Aussie cafe-culture, its a matter of time before you probably think that espresso/ latte served in SG is diluted and below standard.

Besides, for the fact that cafe here charge an average of $4 for a cuppa and the product is below standard.... thats a rip-off!!

Once, I told the barrista that the latte was diluted. He looked at me and said "Its supposed to taste like that"..... *faints*

An espresso machine costs $1.5k upwards....

Between photography and espresso machine, I am more inclined to set the money aside for the former. Else, I befriend you, and you can buy me an espresso maker on my next birthday

    That sums it all!!!

Yaay!! I found a fellow latte addict.

If you need your fix, try the lattes at the following places -
    1) Baker's Inn
    2) Marmalade Pantry
    3) Rocky Master (tipped by another CSer, but I have'nt had the chance to try).

    Enjoy!!

    Greetings,

Having only recently returned home from Melbourne, I'm very much lost and in a state of disarray due to the lack of a decent cuppa, would be great if fellow latte-addicts could post the address of the latte joints mentioned above.

    Cheers.

    Hey werxmeister,

Since I came out with the list, I've added more info onto it.

    1) Baker's Inn - Outlets at United Sq, Paragon, Plaza Sg etc.
    www.bakerzin.com

    2) Marmalade Pantry - Only outlet at Palais Renaissance
    www.themarmaladepantry.com

    3) Rocky Master - Opp Bras Basah Complex (tipped by another CSer, but I have'nt had the chance to try).

IMO, first 2 places offer great desserts menu too.

Hope the list helps. If you come across cafes that makes great latte, do update yah?

okie.. I'm not much of a latte person (more of a mocha fanatic) so where i'm recommending is a little out of the way.

Try A & Z muslim restuarant along Sembawang Rd (around the Mac'D just before ADSD) - their Teh-Ccino is one of the best I have ever tasted!
