    Default Sb 600

Just bought the speedlight above, but when i fix it to my d70 and take pictures in a dark room, the pix are black. I can see the flash lighting up the room but my pix are total blackness. How to set the flash?? Or issit the battery? Using alkaline batteries. Got tips from the net saying rechargeable batts better as nirmal batts can accomodate the high energery of flashes.

Show us some sample with exif attached, then we can help you up. because we would not know how you set your cam from your very vague explanation of the situation.
I am not a photographer, just someone who happened to have a couple of cameras.

    Shouldn't be a battery problem.
