Default Will you delete your digital image when your subject request you to do so?

Just happened to see this in the dpreview forum and thought that this might be an interesting subject.

What would you do if you happened to take some pictures and your subject request you to delete the "not so nice" digital images? Of course there would be times when the pictures are not worth keeping but sometimes you would want to keep the "not so nice" pictures for sentimental value.

Would you accede to his request, or would you find some excuses/reasons in order not to delete those?

I usually don't unless there's violent protest from the subject. Usually they are pretty okay with it. Some of the more savvy ones delete the image themselves when I pass the camera over to them to see the pic.
