Popped by for lunch, people sitting in one corner browsing books. Something just don't change.

now THAT was a GREAT idea !!

Its actually almost as exciting as shooting the GE and Presidential Elections with this type of crowd jamming into such a small space

Really illogical how come Borders used up only HALF the exhibition hall ....... behind the stack of boxes was another empty half doing nothing.....

p/s I would have gladly paid someone in front of the queue $20 + cost of my books if I could .... maybe I should do that and make some pocket money tomorrow and Sunday..... sure beats shooting Dawn Hui brother's ROM for $50

Its understandable why they only take half the hall given their situation. For 5 days rental for the use of the space and whatever stocks they are attempting to liquidate ; they be happy if they pull through financially positive.

Worst part of the queue were Singaporeans whom can't read or understand simple english signage like for the Express Lane "5 items or less only". People tends to ignore the signs causing huge delays and annoyance to others. Individuals with boxes of books queuing and refusing to budge when approach by Border staff. Typical ugly traits of Singaporeans.
