Do you think is it possible for everyone to upload their camera manual online so that clubsnap can host them?

Good ideas for ClubSNAP, only problem is, we're slow in the development for all such features due to we have limited resources and people volunteering their help.

Actually, I am not so sure if there are any legal implications behind doing this. The manuals are copyrighted material. So, the best way will be to link to the respective manufacturer's websites.

providing a link will do, don't have to store the manual in clubsnap server.
