Default Wedding : Terence and Jasmine

My cousin's wedding last month, didnt really get alot of chances to shoot, as he already had a photographer in his wedding package. As a brother, had to help him out more with the wedding than juz take photos haha....

feel free to comment on ways which i may improve (on my quickshots)

cheers.....

the wedding cake in b&w looks quite unappetizing
think cake in colors look nicer.
tho the cake is fake and not suuppose to be appetizing. hee

like wht Paul said, the B+W cake is not nice.
no 8 is nice.. like the pose and the tone.
no 6 is ..... joss stick can be used for many purposes. some obvious ones don't really tie with your topic..
sometimes when we take pics, we have to take into consideration of the ocassion too.

Hey, i like no. 1 pretty much. Usually shots (even from pros) would be done with some ambient light from the window. And the light is pretty too.

Hi Witness,

Good work.

What was your lighting setup? Just on-camera with diffuser, or did you also have a diffused slave off to the side?

Witness

Sad to say this but only the 1st 2 pics of the still life works for me. As some have said, b&w is not the ideal medium for wedding especially for chinese wedding. For church wedding and candids, maybe b&w will work better.

Sorry for a bit OT here.

As for pic #5, I always have the dilemma in the situation dunno whether should I capture the couple or the one opposite them since they are facing face to face, I just cant get all of them in the pic. Is there anyone here can advise me about this?

Thanks.
