try scanning iso 400 or 800 film and you will see that there is even more noise .. This sample might not be that great due to the light conditions .. But I've shot at 1600 with the S2pro and printed it at 5x7 inches .. absolutely clean .. and looked sharper and less grain than my other shots with Fujipress 800

    From the Nikonusa website:

"Flash Control: 1) D-TTL (Automatic Balanced Fill-Flash controlled by five-segment TTL Multi Sensor) with built-in Speedlight and external Speedlight such as SB-80DX/28DX/50DX: three modes available; 2) Non-TTL Auto Flash with an external Speedlight "

just for your info, ttl will work.

    http://www.nikon-euro.com/nikoneuro_...d100_en_02.htm

"Using an optional Speedlight on the D100 hotshoe
The D100 is equipped with a hotshoe that allows the following Speedlights to be mounted directly on the camera without the need for a sync cable, SB-80DX, 50DX, 30, 29S, 27, 26, 25, 24, 23 and 22s.
Of these Speedlights only the SB-80DX, 50DX and SB28DX offer full D-TTL flash control. Click here to see the D-TTL compatibility matrix."

please note that it is only with DTTL that requires dx series of flash.

Sigh. I repeat, this time in colour Non-DX flashes DO NOT work in TTL mode with Nikon D-series cameras.

On the same page of the link you quoted below it says:

The other Speedlights listed offer non-TTL, auto and manual modes only; click here.

In case direct linking doesn't work,

    seems self-explanatory to me?
