    Default St-e2 with 270ex2

Does it work well outdoor, handheld behind own body?

ST-E2 works with Infrared, requiring line of sight. Outdoors the IR signal is easily overpowered by bright daylight. Since ST-E2 sends the IR signal to the front (it's mouned on your hotshoe) it would require a reflective surface to reach the 270 behind your body. In such situations radio triggers are more reliable.

I was looking for a simple and light weight "one man operated" off camera flash solution like left hand with slave flash gun right hand with body.
    So, which radio device ?
