I like the lighting for the Breitling. It is very even and depicts very well the surface of classic watches.
As for the Oyster, it seems to be lit from the top and more constrasty than the first. It is used to good effect to highlight the texture of the bezel and the face. You may want to diffuse the lighting a little to reduce the hotspots at the top and this would complement the surface better, but at the expense of the texture that you are trying to achieve. Excellent piece of work. If I hadn't known, I swear it is taken using studio strobes. |

i know nuts about this at all, but my dad says last time when he shot watches the hands should be positioned like on a 9-2pm position so the hands fors a nice smiley effect on the watch face..go figure
