    Default how to prevent unauthorised hp lines with my ic ?

    i recently lost my IC and i am worried that someone will use my ic and sign up for hp lines then i tio the $1000 phone bills..

    how to ward off it ?

    call telcos and ask them to block ?

    hi, i dun have advice for you, but i feel that you mentioned a good idea. only need to make 3 phone calls and you've got yourself covered. make a recording of the conversation and write down the date/time of the phonecall of reporting. if the problem of unauthorized ic really happens, you can insist on not paying. hope you dun get into any other trouble. when i lost my ic years ago, it was found being used to book a billiards table at clementi west. wasn't a big deal, but had to go down personally with the police report to collect back the card.

    Make a police report and keep it safe.

    yar i think as long a police report is made should be fine liao. To play safe call the telcos and inform them also

    off hand service reviews

    calling
    singtel, most rude and discourteous of the 3, slow and impatient
    m1, acceptable, abit slow, average friendliness
    starhub. the most inefficient of the lot..

    going down personally.
    m1, most prompt service, friendly.
    singtel, slow, inefficient, rude and worst of the lot.
    starhub -havent visited yet

    personal conclusion, m1 best.
