This man is a joker. He is not a real photograher but just a equipment freak that weigh himself down. Even I have alot of money, I wont do something to torture myself.

it's more likely to break the mounting screw on the monopod and send the entire expensive setup of camera + lens crashing to the ground, if he did not make modifications to the mount.

Do you need that many lenses to shoot golf?!
The equipment can only bring you so far - the rest of the photographic journey is done by you.

haven't it ever occured to you like.. how come he can enter the golf course ? why does he have a pass ? and hasn't it even occured to you even more that his lenses are probably borrowed from the company he's working for ? which in this case is "Stene" ?

not really. golfers don't want to hear photographers firing off the shutters/mirrors when they're doing the backswing... besides, a long lens will allow a perspective pretty close to showing the face of the golfer who just teed off or hit along the direction of hit. if using a shorter lens, one will only be able to see the side of the face...

OMG!!! If he got such long lens... He can like football shooters stand at the press stand and shoot mah... 1 more thing, for those who knows golf, although he is standing in the roughs, but that doesn't mean he can go into there with a normal shoe. This man real damn "kua zhang" sia.... Furthermore he load until like that he can't even kneel down... What are the kneepads for? In case the lens from breaks his shin?

Yeap..only shoes with soft spikes are allowed onto golf courses...he may be wearing soccer shoes that have miniature spikes for grip against the thin carpet grass in case he slips..

Becos he spent all his dough on lenses and cams already.

We all have a good laugh just passing all kinds of remarks.

I think it is time to stop passing snide remarks about the golf photographer. We would not be able to appreciate the reasons why he was doing unless we are 'in his shoe'.
