Default ...Static streaks on 35mm Film......

    Hi everyone,

Just to hear from anyone whom had any problem with getting static streaks on their 35mm film at high speed multiple frames per second????

I read an article about the risk of fast rewind and fast film advance which will create static streaks due to sparks formed when the plastic(film) rubs against the internal surface of the film chamber.

    ANy thoughts.....or experience....

    regards,
    me

I know of the problem but have never encountered it in actual practice and don't know anyone who has had it happen in real life.

Far more common is cracking around the rewind crank top bushing from static build up while rewinding film by hand on cameras made up to the mid 80s.
