Default large format digital back made afforable

would it be possible to use a flat bed scanner attached onto a self made black box? If some how we bypass the lamp.

Pls note I am not taking image quality here, only exploring the possibility.

Hahahhaaa... U're still on this idea...
Most prob the light entering the pinhole/lens is not enough.

This website describe a similar approach:

    http://www.sentex.net/~mwandel/tech/scanner.html

In theory you can attach the flatbed scanner to a large format camera, disable the scanner light and then have the scanner scan the image formed by the camera's lens.

You might have to remove the glass panel on the scanner..

This solution can only work on still images, and you don;t have image preview (?).
As complexity rises, precise statements lose meaning and meaningful statements lose precision.
