Default Esprit Vert Catwalk

Haven't quite posted for a while. Just trying to see how it goes. Hope it works.

Becos very crowded, so no tripod. Even monopod could be somewhat difficult. So, handheld. Quite a few shots marred by cam-shake.

Red become pink - ah, maybe the WB, maybe becos backlighted, maybe overexposed, maybe reflection from the sky, maybe dunno why. Maybe some expert around here could pinpoint the reason why. Anyway, thanks for pointing it out.

Yeah, I shot about 170 pics, and straightaway deleted about a third due to composition and cam shake. Should have cranked up the ISO to 400 or even 640 or 800. Should have brought my monopod w video head. With that, I would have taken care of cam shake.

Anyway, practice makes perfect, or at least get somewhat better score. Results not as good as the Powerboat - I was more kiasu, with 055 tripod and ISO up at 500. No problem with cam shake. The capture was more than 90%. By capture, I mean no cam shake, no out of focus, boat in frame - the bare minimum to be accepted. I tot Powerboats were >200kph, Vert Catwalk much slower, didn't know so hard to shoot properly. Lesson - never underestimate the difficulties.
