Default How do you keep your camera filters?

Heh just a thought in my mind. For example u guys were going out to the field for shooting.. u brought only 1 Lens.. n several filters along. How do u keep the others filter? (since we usually only mount 1 on the lens)
do u just dump them in the camera bag (if so...wont the glass collect some dust?) or keep in the casing provided when you purchase the filter? or How? Thanks ^^

Keep them with the original casing or get a filter pouch
    Take the shot!

Just keep it in the provided casing that comes along with the filter you bought, as I supposed one wouldpurchase a filter that sold without any form of aprovided/'safety'-casing right...

I just use the filter casing that comes with it too.

Maybe I will get a filter wallet when I start having more filters.

my square filters go into a lowepro filter wallet along with some adapter rings. the filter holders sit in my bag. but for my B+W filter i keep it in the hard plastic case, sitting in the foam

Hi 5 bro, I'm also using the lowepro pouch with inserts for sq filter. Found it very convenient if you have a set of filters.

    I use this:

Can be found here at this http://tamrac.com/welcome.htm

Bought it at K-13 at Peninsula Plaza, Level 2 for about $25 - $30. Stores comfortably 6 circular/round filters or holders. Typically I strap it to my bag's exterior or my pant's belt.

    HTH.

    Cheers!

yup. i have the tianya square ND4, ND8, ND16 and GND. with adapter rings of 49mm, 72mm and 77mm. and also a step-down ring 77mm- 72mm...so i jut put them in the same pouch. LOL saves the hassle of carrying all in different cases.

I use a filter pouch; circular filters, naked... Hi-tech GNDs in the plastic pouch they came in.
