SINGAPORE : Fifty-five cameras worth S$34,000 have been stolen from a shop at Boat Quay.

A worker discovered the break-in early Wednesday morning when he arrived to start business.

The main glass door of the shop had been tampered with.

A covering over the air conditioner vent was also missing.

The stolen cameras were kept on the display shelves.

Police said there was no alarm system in the shop, which was last secured late Tuesday night.
55 cameras, $34,000. Works out to be abt $618 per camera...

Wonder why they didn't take the ones in the box. Would fetch better prices as a complete set.
