Default Regarding Lexar 2GB MO

Referring to sticky on "Special MO for Members : Lexar 2GB 80x (2nd Edition) CF at S$299/nett"

Will there be a 2nd MO???

I hope Darren can get another one going...

We are always on the lookout for good deals to pass on to members, and are still trying to get another round of MO for the 2GB card.

No promises yet ... keep your fingers crossed.

Is there any offer on Extreme Card?

As there is a 3rd parties report do stated that Lexar 80x(only 6-7mb/s) is much slower than 60x extreme(10.xxmb/s) or ultra II card(10.xxmb/s).

Btw may I know what is 'MO' mean?

Thanks.

If really that price: $299 for 4GB , I don't mind with the slower speed & non-backup system.

someone at this post http://forums.clubsnap.org/showthread.php?t=94382
referred to Dpreview http://www.dpreview.com/news/0409/04...extremeIII.asp as quoting:
"SanDisk Extreme III CompactFlash cards will be sold in 1, 2 and 4GB capacities with suggested retail prices ranging from $139.99 to $559.99 (€135 to €540, excluding VAT)."

the prices should be in usd, and in euro

a bit off topic...but if there is a 4GB CF MO, will Fuji S2 Pro be able to use that card? Or max upto 2GB CF?

4GB is a type II CF, so your slot must be able to take in Type II CFs. Also think 4GB is Fat32, so the camera must support as well. So far Nikon D100 has no problems with 4GB Lexars
