It should cost slightly more than S$12 ... if you can get a few together with your friends, it should comne down to about slightly under S$12 ... not only that, you'll also get to make new friends too!

I got this from CP last week for $10.50. It has 2 protectors in one pack. It is for 10D/D60 but it is the same size as the 20D.

Hope that helps

Get the DaProtector. It's a Solid piece of Plastic that's scratch proof... darn good.

Have been using this on my 10D for more than a year and now on the 20D as well. Very lasting and non-reflective. Even after a year of use, it looks as good as new. Easy to fix and no glue is involved as the plastic is electrostatically adhered onto the LCD display.

I had used da Protector on my D60 but didn't like it. It is very difficult to fix onto the LCD display without getting specks of dust caught between the display and the da Protector. And even if you can, dust particles can somehow still get in over time and get trapped between the display and the da Protector due to the way the da Protector is glued onto the display with 2 to 4 thin adhesive strips on the edges. Once the dust particles get in, they are very conspicuous and very irritating to look at.

Yep. Have been using this to protect my 10D since last year. Not a speck of dust found on the screen ever since, and oil stains on it can be easily removed.

Highly recommended! Worth every cent.

Why don't you all just get the screen protector for PDAs then cut to size? It costs so much less and doesn't take long to cut.

Find a transparent car decal if you're really cash-strapped.

I suppose you can, but the cost of a PDA protector may be more. Besides you need to cut and round the corners otherwise it may tend to peel, if the square corners protrude. I know, I know you can possibly get 4 or more pieces.

I think for $5 a piece it just save you the hassle. You may want to pair up with your friend to get it (one each) if cost is a concern.

Just my thoughts

Cheers

Actually, the PDA screen protector costs only $3.50 per piece. I bought it in a pack of 10 and it's a high quality brand made in USA. Got a few pieces left... so anyone?

The corners aren't that bad... Just use a small scissors to cut neatly around it. No protrusions at all.

And I don't think the ready made ones cost $5. The brand posted above by someone costs $11 at CP and there's only 1 inside I believe? It's so expensive because I think all these LCD protectors are cut to size for particular DSLR models. Seriously, the material itself shouldn't be worth that much.

But of course if you want absolute convenience, then oh well, might as well just spend that $11.

There are 2 pieces into the pack. I have bought and used it and can confirm as can any other users. It even say so on the label if you look carefully.

yup two pieces.

the sales person at CP tried to smoke me by saying there's only one piece when the fricking package so blatantly put two.

oddly enough... my lcd has yet to be scratched, more than a year later... without any of these gimmicks...

and that's with considerable usage, though no paying jobs/assignments...

Another feature that I like about this brand of screen protector which so far no one has mentioned is that it is non-reflective and makes it easier on the eyes to view the images in brightly lit environments. It cuts out the glare that would otherwise reflect off the unprotected shiny LCD screen surface under those situations.

Mostly, I find the staff there very helpful, compared to AP. I think most likely, he has not handled that product before and may not know that there are 2.

FYI, the salesperson who sold me was kind enough to fit one on my cam for me.

Cheers
