    Default An ode to Eurekaw

Sorry, I worked on this for 15 mins so I HAD to put it out...

Eurekaw - The Joy of All

There once was a man named Eurekaw
in he came through the Clubsnap door.

    "Come one, come all,
    be you big or small.
    Let's make a deal,
so you won't say I steal.
Put your name in a big neon light,
    on my very own website.
    Let's make a deal,
and I'll make a silver teal."

Amidst all his very big talk,
in came our very own blurblock.

    "Be gone you demon spawn,
CS is the shutterbugs' hallowed ground.
If you're not away by the break of dawn,
we will set on you our rabid hound."

Anyway, to answer Eurekaw analogy about Writers....

There are a few things in common,

Writers are passionate about writing, Photographer do.
Writers wants their view heard, Photographers wants their feeling in the photograph felt.
Writers can share their feeling in writing for free, so can photographers.
Writers want to eat, so are photographers,
Writers do not want their articles defiled, so do photographers
Writers do not want their articles ended up promoting others without their consent, so do photograhers
Writers wants to know who are they writing to (Chances are they will not want to write a story about how Bill Gates become the world's richest man in Playboy Magazine), so do photographers.....

So the morale of the story is .... What the heck service is Eurekaw providing, no one knows, he isn't telling.

Why Eurekaw not ask a writer to write to his website about his website, but don't tell them anything about his website?

Astin, that's because your name doesn't rhyme with "talk"

Terence, you're a meanie ... and sad to say, I truly enjoyed reading through the original thread . Togu's a spoilsport ... would have gone all the way to the next galaxy by now if the thread wasn't closed

Oh, and I enjoyed the poem as well, Terence ... didn't know being in the right-hand seat develops your poetic bones ... must be all that UV

Your next assignment is to do it as a haiku

A (very) short Japanese-style poem. Rhyming optional.

Ok, the point has been made & I think this has gone on long enough. With due respect to Eurekaw as a CS member, I'm closing this thread.
