I'm amazed how u guys come out with S$5k. US$2300 with the exchange rate of 1.7 only comes to close to S$4k.

How did you even come up with $5K? More like $4K Westray. Our Sing dollar is not that weak.

aiya, whenever a product is newly launch, the price is always lydat one la. when d2h just came out oso 6k, now only ard 5k. think the f6 will slowly drop to ard 3.3k later on when supplies are greater.

Almost an unlikely scenario there... the price of the new F5 stayed the same since its introduction and is only now going through dicounts now that its sucessor has arrived... That's one thing about the Nikon pro bodies, they cost is pretty fixed.

4K is a little expensive. But dun u think a dslr take example Nikon D1 when it first launch is around $10k and look at just how many years only and the camera not many ppl wanted liao. Compare the number of years you can rely the camera, you will not find film slr too expensive. To me, a pro dslr (with a shorter lifespan) is far more expensive than a F6.
