Yep, that's the 70-300 Sigma with Macro.

n how is this one from tamron AF70-300mm F/4-5.6 LD 1:2 Macro, izzit the same one?

Actually, it's the other way around - it's mainly a telephoto zoom, with a bonus macro mode to half life size. Not the same as the Tamron, but they are similar specs. Out of all the consumer 70-300mm lenses from all manufacturers, the Sigma is arguably the best one (great performance, very good price)

oh my, small world, this should have been on the saturday just past? i was passing through bugis in the afternoon too. i'd stopped to watch these snappers in action.
