    Default nightshot in hongkong

    1. in what area is critique to be sought?
    composition, technique, exposure.
    2. what one hopes to achieve with the piece of work?
capture the colourful reflection and also the moving clouds.
    3. under what circumstance is the picture taken? (physical conditions/emotions)
taken on a windy night at the avenue of stars in hongkong.
    4. what the critique seeker personally thinks of the picture
-image dont seem to be sharp. increased the f-stop to increase the shutter time to get achieve a more 'silky' effect for the water and also to get a clearer image.
-the lights on the buildings are overexposed. any idea on how to prevent this?

the night sky is not adding to the image at all .... neither is the bottom bit

would you consider cropping off a chunk of the sky and some of the bottom for a panorama ?

the image is to small to see if your lens was able to resolve the building details well enough
shaddap and just shoot .... up close
