    thx bro!

    to summarised a little:

    8MP FFT CCD
new image processor true pic turbo
64MB buffer (pretty small for a DSLR nowadays)
    2.5fps
    built in flash
    porro mirror
ANTI-DUST SHAKER!! (WOW!! neat feature on a consumer DSLR!)

    pricing not out yet.

Dpreview has bigger pictures and detailed specs:

    Dpreview E-300 announcement

It looks more like prosumer than a DSLR.

expansion is via custom settings. can expand to ISO 800 & ISO 1600 but that very much give us a very good idea of how the noise is.

The look alone tells it's very consumer grade stuff.

does it still use mirror reflect??? looks like a C8080 to me except for interchangeable lense.

i believe it still does. mirror flip sideways & 2 tiny prism used to direct light into the viewfinder if i m not mistaken.

Specs look ok. Pricing will be key, need to be below 1.2k to be competitive.

The camera looks good, and using another wierd way to prevent mirror lock-ups, always a good thing! Let's hope the lenses are cheap since there is almost no market for 2nd hand lenses for their cameras.

Oh yah, I'm out of the C-2100uz user list already, going for DSLR now.
