Default Guilt Is Written All Over My Face.......

My colleague have been hounding me for the past week as he wanted lobang to get a 2nd hand D70.....He couldnt take it any longer and decided to get a brand new D70.
I didnt know what the D70 looked like as my previous 2 & existing cams have been Canon...G5, 300D & A80....I sold my 300D recently as I wanted to live a less complex life and opted for a P&S with some manual features....

Ok, accompanied him to Cathay and this guy took out the D70....Wham! Pow! F%$#&k!! I saw stars....It was love at 1st sight...all black, rock solid (compared to the 300D), damn macho....!!! When I held the beauty in my palms, I was like quivering & salivating all over...then, the inevitable happened, I took my 1st test shot.....the sound that the D70 produced after I depressed the shutter bought me to near orgasmic levels....the 300D was flat as stale coffee.
I released the D70 from my hands immediately....I was tempted, I was in love, I wanted her.....
I spent the next 2 days...justifying, dreaming, surfing the net, eating & sleeping the D70.....Alas, I could not take the stress....I had to do the inevitable......
At 8pm last nite, I dashed straight to AMK and slam-dunk $2030 for this black-beauty.....
I dun mind...even if i have to eat roti-prata for the next 10 years....
Did I have to buy it? No. Do I need a DSLR? No. Was I happy with my A80? Yes. Then wtf did I get the D70??? I was in love.......

Guys, I'm deep ****.....u really want me to starve with all these delicious accessories?
i wld really like to meet up with u guys 2nite but I hv church commitments every Mondays...
Man, forgot to tell u dat that i bought the SB600....SB800, nah, I guess I dont need it as i'm a complete sotong when comes to aperture/shutter/exposure etc....jargon & photography.
As for the CF card, I settled for a 512MB Kingston as I'm not really hardcore. Wanted to get the lexar 1GBx80 CF but decided against it...

btw, how much is the 70-200 f/2.8 VR har??

Questions:

1. Can my Slik U6600 be used for the D70. Am using it for my A80 (yes, the cam is only 1 mth old...)

2. When I take indoor night shots with either cams of my kids, why is it that there are uneven patches/shades on the wall ? Duuno wat you call them but even with the flash, these 'patches' are still visible.

Wat causes them and wat are they called in 'camera-language'?

Well, I'm sourcing for a good grassland where we can chew together, join us! You should get a Lexar for your D70, need any help? Heehee.

70-200VR is ~$3K need help?

1) Don't advise it, you need a proper sturdier tripod that can hold the weight of the camera & lenses. Preferrably a good tripod + ballhead.

2) What sort of patches? Show show?
