Cannot get enough of them.

Too shy though. Flew away whenever i sneaked up on them slowly. Next time must wear No. 4.....

Hey bro, that was pretty good. Is it taken using your 50-500? I was not able to get a lock on focus everytime when I try to catch them in flight

Yea, 50-500. I think about 2 are quite blown and 1 underexposed (the sky background one), but i guess still presentable. Very difficult to track already, so absolutely no time to dial in EC. Doesn't help that 50-500 HSM is not fast enough by itself technically esp when we are talking about shooting in the shade at 8.30AM with a f6.3 lens, so it emphasizes technique a lot.

Next week perhaps i will dedicate a portion of my birding time to shoot flying stuff, my these pics settings not exactly not set for flying. (will use ISO 800 for flying, usually for static i use ISO 200, 320 or 400).

Nice action shots. Not easy to pan with the Bigma, I know.
Esp when there is not enough light.

And especially with that limited space in the hide, there isn't much time and space for you to follow the action

True. My shots from last trip all went into the trash

Aiyah. I've tried like crazy to get a flying shot but the 50-500 is not an easy lens to do it with. Anyway nice attemp.

Good attempts there, as Zplus had said, not easy to do flying/panning shots with the Bigma.
