    Btw, thou can get nice picture, but the possibility of snake..... hmmmm got snake repellant one or not?

    Haha don't have liao. You can also take similar pix by going to the railway tracks. That was taken about 5 mins north from the bridge near Rail Mall.

    Railway no snakes lar. Most of the time snakes will also get out of your way if you don't step on them or corner them. They are more scare of you.

    Sg got no many snakes left. A lot people during office hours 'eat snake'. So dun worry. If not, just ask one or two of your office colleagues (those who 'eat snake kind') to go wif you lor..............

    There are a lot of entry point along the railway. You can take a look at this thread. The best stretch is actually from Bt. Timah station to Rail Mall, but I heard it is closed already. To shoot mushrooms/fungus you don't need to go to the railway, you can find them at most of the parks.

    I 2 weeks ago went to tanjong pagar then close so wasted the trip

    The stretch between Rifle Range Road to Rail Mall is open till the end of this month...

    Yes, you're right, the fungus is actually near the edge of the DOF. This was actually taken using the 12-24/4 lens very near to the fungus without a tripod (I wasn't expecting to take macros), so the focus actually shifted slightly during recompose.
