    Default Hello, everyone.....

Hi there, I'm new to this forum and a 100% photography dimwit.
So, if I were to ask 'silly' questions which may at times be really stupid, I can only ask for your pastience & understanding....

At present, I'm using P&S digi-cam and wld really want to venture into 'deeper waters' ....I have been lurking around in this forum for quite sometime and I have more or less set my sights on a 2nd hand Nikon D70.

Hint, hint...if any of you D70 wishes to dispose off their 'old toy', you know who to look for....

Ok, that's enuf into for all......

Just a hint ... the "Search" button on the top right may hold the key to answering most of your questions ... many questions have been answerd in the old forum threads.

If questions pertaining to Nikon equipment, just drop by Spinelli's (beside Ruby @ Peninsula Hotel) for the infamous Nikon Council, where many Nikonians gather (so do Canonites, Bronicats, Mamiyians...etc gather).

    wah...this is indeed a friendly forum....advice & tips noted...
thanks espn for the D70 offer but its out of my budget for now...

btw, the nick Gigantor, has nothing to do with any part of the human anatomy. Am sure I will be the most sought-after 'model' here...

It was taken from a 1960's cartoon character (adventures of a giant robot). Developed by Japanese but cartoon series from the US.

It's ok to ask silly questions, but it's silly not to ask questions.

I'm EXTREMELY friendly to Nikon users

Gigantor was a summon spell in FF 2/3 right? I can't remember.
