Default Anyone used a Tamron 28-105/2.8 before?

    Hi.

Wondering if anyone here has any experience with the Tamron 28-105/2.8? It's an old lens, and very hard to find info on it. i think it was past its popularity by the time the Internet caught on.

The full name of the lens is Tamron 28-105/2.8 SP AF Aspherical LD, the version with the 82mm filter.

    Anyone?

photodo test result is only 2.4. very bad. but then again, there are those who dont rely on MTF value to buy their lens.

I've used one with a D100. It's big and heavy but with a very good zoom range. It's a bit soft at f2.8 with razor thin depth of field at the telephoto end. Much better to shoot at f4. Nice bokey though.
