Default Ilford in Receivership

This isn't really news but I haven't seen it posted on this forum so here goes.

A very sad times for B/W film users. Ilford is in receivership. If no one buys their film business they will close it down.

Love and agree with the attached post and seen it happen with CDs vs Vinyl myself. I hope it happens for film too.

film is never dead.... just that the market has shrunk a little for film. Many in overseas still uses film for their work

Film will probably survive but problem is the death of different types of film which means less choice.

who told you that people overseas still use alot of film?
most commercial work is done on digital now
