loved that city and nice night shoots too.
There were no people in that shot, was it done at late night or extended "B" shots that blurred out the people movement. Must be cold right ? I am heading back there in December (I hoped).... can't wait to try the river cruise and visit that castle again.... |

wonderful.Sad news about this kind of temp. The battery life, usually 1 hr or so, is shorten to 15 mins. But when I take cover in the nearby shop to warm up, pretending to window shop till I sweat. The "dead " battery comes alive again, for another 15 mins.... ![]() |

The changing of Guards at the Palace is an interesting one. I didn't get the chance to go into the palace ground to take photos, but was outside.
The astronomical clock was a dissappointment really, waited for 15mins only for it to give the bell and open the "window" to see the figures past by. Did you see the cows on display? I think Singapore wanted to follow it with it's version of the Lions. ![]() |

regertfully, I had overcast skies during my stay. the very grime and sianz feeling all day long. Camera's AF had some problem focusing. These are about the rare time that I would like my humid & sunny weather in Singapore back with me...
Yes, I remember that few painted lions being very familar in Singapore, so a copy (singapore) cat abound. the changing of the guards were so fast that I hardly can find a chance for good composition ... anyway, I am just another oriental tourist with a simple looking digicam.... ![]() |
