Hi all FZ10/20 users,
I am sure all of you have search the net for info on the Lumix Fz series and come across many sites with useful info. I hope to start this thread so that we can consolidate at least some of the info to share with the lumix community. Let me start first..... FZ10 rough guide by David P.S. Fong http://www.users.bigpond.com/vkelim/DMCFZ10/index.html Info on Adapters, TC, WC, Flash and other useful info for FZ10 (under FZ10) by Ching-Kuang Shene http://www.cs.mtu.edu/~shene/DigiCam/ General info for Digital camera http://luminous-landscape.com/ and particularly on how to use our histogram http://luminous-landscape.com/tutori...stograms.shtml Websites of people who use FZ10 http://cyril-jeane.smugmug.com/ http://george.tan.singapore.fotopic.net/ aka Jim Davis http://ddsm.smugmug.com/ http://nicholsoncreative.smugmug.com/ http://klaas-bloem.fotopic.net/ Few free to add to help one another!!!! ![]() |

Thanks for the kind comment Things to take note (my personal experience ) are:Try to spot the common areas where the birdies frequently like to land, usually the best time to shoot sunbirds is around 7.30am to 11am or around 4.30pm onwards. Station at a comfort distance between yourself and the subjects (birdies) - I prefer using a good tripob for better chances of getting a clearer shot. Focus (I prefer manual focus - more sharp) only at the birdies' eyes (learn from some old birds => photographers) instead of other parts of the body and the rest is practise, practise and more practise.......I also still learning from others. My favourite setting: modes: spot and manual, WB: Sunny (for warmer feeling), EV: -1/3 or -2/3 (for sunny day), manual focus and the rest depending on the situations. So far never used 'P' mode coz I like to take total control of my shots rather than let the 'P' mode do it for me. Hope my info is useful to you. Cheers
